Geranium or Pelargonium Zonale is a perennial of the family of the Geraniaceae plant.

This small evergreen shrub of rounded shape, is very leafy and is covered with large and beautiful flowers of different colors.

To keep its foliage and eye-catching look we must go by removing from stem wilted flowers.

If we grow it in pots we must add each fortnight liquid manure or slow release.

This plant can be attacked by the "African mariposilla" so, it is recommended the application of preventive insecticides.

Pruning will take place in spring and autumn, by cutting the damaged stems or those who do not present a good way. We will also remove damaged leaves and will take advantage of to add a layer of substrate.

In the sun it will provide us with more quantity of flowers.
