Pericallis x hybrida or cineraria is one of those plants that make spring happier.

Towards the end of winter, the cineraria becomes a small bush full of flowers that completely cover its leaves. Its flowering is similar to that of the daisy, and has very bright pink, blue or violet tones.

This plant needs to receive many hours of light, but semi shaded. If we put it under direct sun, the leaves will wilt.

It needs to be in a cool environment and protected from the air currents.

Although it is an annual plant, in warm climate areas it can grow as a perennial plant.

If temperatures approach 25º, the plant will bloom quickly, but it will also wilt soon. Ideally, place it in a cool area (for example, under a porch or in the shade of the trees) to extend its flowering throughout the spring.
