Senecio radicans is a common trailing succulent. For succulent growers who like senecio but find it difficult to grow, this plant is a great alternative. It is easier to keep alive and much less demanding.

Senecio radicans has the typical watering needs of a succulent. It is best to use the "soak and dry" method, and allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings.

This plant is not cold hardy, so if you live in an area where it is colder than -1°C, it is best to plant this succulent in a container that can be brought indoors. It does well in partial sun.

If planted indoors, place it in a room that receives indirect sunlight.

Senecio radicans propagates prolifically. Using a sharp, sterile knife or scissors, remove a stalk from the main plant and allow it to settle down for several days before placing it in well-draining soil. Water when the soil has dried out completely.

You can plant the stem cuttings in the same pot as the original plant, increasing the amount of spiller.
