It is a plant with pearly purple leaves, with hints of pink. It likes well-lit places.

It is one of the most popular succulent genera, the echeverias, and they are popular, not only because of the large number of species that comprise it, but also because of the numerous hybrids that are being incorporated.

It is one of the hardiest species of this genus.

The lighting received will be decisive in keeping the rosette low and preventing the stem from overgrowing. Likewise, the light will be responsible for ensuring that pink tone on the almost bluish colour of the leaves, which are rounded, with an acute apex, which seems to extend in the form of a thorn, although it is not a thorn.

Its flowers are pink-orange in colour and have the typical shape, like small lanterns, of all those of its genus and each plant usually has 1 to 3 inflorescences, sometimes up to 6, which usually appear during spring or at the end of summer.

With this plant, it is important to keep an eye on the frequency of watering, as overwatering can be fatal. It should also be borne in mind that in winter it is necessary to interrupt or moderate watering.

If we look after it properly, the Echeveria Perle von Nürnberg will give us one or more rosettes, 15 to 20 cm in diameter, which we can enjoy in a pot or in the garden, as long as we provide it with a good substrate for succulent plants and cacti; or a universal substrate to which we incorporate the corresponding drainage.
