Lamium maculatum, also known as Speckled Nettle and Dead Nettle, in a herbaceous belonging to the Lamiaceae family.

It is used to cover the ground, under trees and shrubs, although it can also be used in pots.

Its flowers are pink, purple or white and its leaves are green with a silver or white speckling.

Salt resistant.

Irrigation should be moderate.

It does not need to be pruned, removing the leaves and withered flowers will suffice.

It must be paid at the end of winter and beginning of spring.

Its flowers attract bees and bumblebees.
