Description and Origin:

The False Jasmine, known by names like Potato Vine or Bridal Veil, is a climbing shrub native to Brazil. Its heart-shaped, deep green leaves bring vibrancy, while its white or light blue flowers gather in clusters of five petals, adding an elegant touch.

History and Curiosities:

In Brazil, this plant used to be the focal point of nighttime festivities, serving as the main adornment. Its charm and beauty made it a magical presence in celebrations.

Care and Placement:

For cultivation, it's advisable to provide ample space, using pots at least 60 cm deep by 40 cm wide. It requires exposure to full sunlight and protection from the wind. While it can withstand moderate frosts, it benefits from being sheltered.

A normal soil, well-fertilized, and mixed with coarse sand for proper drainage is essential. Watering should be regular but moderate, ensuring well-drained soil for healthy growth.
