Pelargonium citrodorum is an herbaceous and perennial plant of the family of geraniaceae.

It is a plant with very decorative flowers, often grown on terraces and balconies. When its leaves are cut, the smell of its natural oils is released, which makes it an excellent mosquito repellent.

It is widely used because of the intense color of its flowers, between pink and violet. It cannot resist frost but can receive several hours of sun during the day.

Use an universal type of soil mixed with top soil to have a good mix for your pelargonium.

Cut it back when it become very leggy, it will produce much more leaves and flowers, and keep it clean by removing the wilted leaves.

Prune the plant more drastically by the end of the summer or the beggining of spring.

Do not overwater, just when you notice the soil is dry.
