The Alyssum Maritimum or Sweet Alyssum is an annual plant on the bressicaceaes family, which covers the ground with white or purple small flowers.
Nice and sweet smell which will make it attractive to bees, butterflies and birds.
In its habitat we can find it in calcareous areas, in slopes and walls, even in dunes on the beach.
Very easy to grow, although better to replace it for new plant once that its flowers are over.
Ocassionally the seeds, which will fall down from its wilted flowers, will germinate again.
