Podranea ricasoliana or Pink Trumpet Vine is a vigorous climber on the bignoniaceae family.
The attractiveness of this plant resides in its strength and the nice pink colour of its trumpet-like flowers.
Once stablished Podranea Ricasoliana is a heat and drought resistant; also it shows a high tolerance to wind and does well in coastal areas.
On a normal basis we should prune it back by the beginning of the winter as it loses part of  its leaves, this way we will control its quick growth as well as its shape.
During the period of growing feed it with special fertilizer for climbing plants.
It likes to have a good soil with a good drain system.
It should survive until -5º aprox.
