Hebe or Veronica  is an evergreen shrub that belongs to the family of the scrophulariaceas.
It is notable for its foliage and shape of its flowers which are PIN- and -violet-shaped.
It is often used to form hedges and borders, but it can also be potted terrace.
You need a land rich and well-drained, alkaline or neutral. Always avoid flooding.
Spring and summer is the season of growth and flowering. Their flowers last from beginning of summer until fall.
During the summer to pay every fortnight with a general fertiliser or flowering.
It is resistant to salinity and high maintenance.
After flowering, we can give a light pruning to rid of wilted flowers, and in late winter or early spring a stronger pruning rejuvenate the plant to give it shape, better if we do it in several times and not once to avoid too drastic pruning.
