Silene is an annual plant that blooms in summer, which comes from the Caryophyllaceae family.

The soil should not be very humid but fresh, for which it is sufficient to maintain a moderate irrigation. Most abundant irrigation during the summer season.

The soil must be a little acidic but, above all, it must be porous so that it drains well.

We can cut the flowers once they are musty and so a new bloom will appear.

It should be paid biweekly with mineral fertilizer during the flowering season.

This plant is quite resistant to pests.
