Thymus vulgaris or Thyme plant is an evergreen herbaceous shrub which belongs to the family of the Lamiaceaes.
It has many beneficial properties for our organism to which must be added the pleasant scent of its leaves.
We must sow with a separation between plants of 30cm. and between lines of 50cm. We can also sow it in pots.

Sowing time:

In cold climates: : from March to June and/or from September to October.

In warm climates: from February to June and/ or from, September to October.

This plant does not need much water and supports droughts, so, irrigation should be moderated by avoiding soggy soils.
We can prune it to prevent from turning into a woody plant, and to stimulate its growth. We can be gathering its sticks to dry them and to be able to consume it.
