Schefflera Arboricola or Umbrella plant or is an evergreen shrub very easy to grow and which belongs to the araliaceaes family.
It is a tough plant, frequently used as an indoor in places of high luminosity. Also is very frequently use as an hedge plant, even in areas nearby the sea.
Use specific fertilize to provide vigor to the plant, such as an evergreen plants fertilize. When used as an indoor plant ry to keep leaves clean and get rid of the withered ones.
Watch for mealybugs, aphids or spiders mites. The secretion of these little bugs on the leaves will act as a proper place for the black mould to thrive , in which case use even dishwashing soap to clean it or phytosanitary product based on soaps.
