The Kalanchoe pumila belongs to the kalanchoe family.
It is a succulent plant with rosette leaves, fleshy, flat, round, grayish green with wide jagged edges. The plant reaches 30cm but its stem can reach 60cm.
This plant needs full sun or semi-shade exposure, although it prefers light shade in the summer.
It is convenient to water it moderately, waiting for the soil to dry, greatly reducing watering in winter. It is very important not to water too much.
A monthly subscription would be enough during its flowering with a mineral fertilizer for cacti and succulents.
It is advisable to prune it when its flowering ends.
Kalanchoe are sensitive to fungal attack if humidity is excessive.
They can be propagated from leaf cuttings (it is important that they have a piece of stem) put to root in a slightly moist sandy substrate.
Likewise, it can be made from seeds but they are not easy to obtain.
