Salvia mystic is an annual evergreen which belongs to the lamiaceae family.
Despite being a perennial plant that lasts several years, it is often commercialized as an annual plant.
Its main remarkable feature are its flowers, velvety spike-shaped, that usually grow up to 25 cm.
It is recommended to feed it every two weeks with a universal fertilizer.
Salvia mystic is also an aromatic long lasting plant, that should be pruned from winter to spring for the plant to become stronger one the next during the season.
It tolerates well both, heat and drought, although obviously it will develop much better with moderate irrigation.
Does not usually suffer from pests or diseases. Some white fly that can be erradicated with a multipurpose insecticide .
