Aloe vera is an evergreen plant of long fleshy leaves and spiny margins on the xanthorhoeacea family.
Needs to be planted in sandy and rich soils.
95% of the plant is composed of water, what means that it is a hardy plant which can resist long periods of drought. However the appropiate water that it receives during the spring and summer seasons the more vigorous and bigger the plant will be. In any case we will avoid an excess of water or soggy soils, because the roots will suffer from rot.
