Perennial Plants
A perennial plant, also known as a vivacious plant, is one that lives for more than two years. Unlike annuals or biennials, perennials do not need to be replanted each year. These plants may die back at the surface during the winter, but their roots remain alive underground and sprout again in the spring. They are popular in gardening due to their ability to grow and bloom over several seasons.
