The petals are grouped into erect inflorescences, very dense, with an appearance similar to the plumage of a bird. The flowers show very bright colours that range between red, orange and yellow.

For this plant to develop, it must be exposed to direct sun. We can sow it in pots or forming groups in the garden.

It is a tropical plant coming from South America, so it can not withstand the cold. If it is exposed to temperatures below 5 or 10 degrees, it is likely to wilt.
