The Kniphofia uvaria, also known by the name of Trinona or Fire Plant, is a perennial herbaceous that belongs to the Xanthorrheoeaceae family.

It is a plant that is always green, it is usually used for beds and borders, but also for pots, although it needs depth and space for the development of the plant.

It is a very hardy plant and easy to care for. It is also used as a cut flower.

The soil where it is planted must be deep and a mixture of mulch and peat to retain moisture.

It does not need pruning, removing dry leaves and flowers is enough.

It must be paid every 3 weeks in summer.

It is not usually affected by any pest.
