Spathiphyllum - Peace Lily

Description:
The Spathiphyllum, commonly known as the Peace Lily, is a popular indoor plant admired for its deep green foliage and elegant white blooms shaped like a spathe. Its compact form, resilience, and air-purifying properties make it a favourite choice for decorating homes and offices.

Origin:
Native to the tropical rainforests of Central and South America, where it thrives in humid, shaded environments.

Care:

• Prefers bright, indirect light but tolerates low-light conditions.

• Avoid cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.

• Ideal temperature range: 15–25 °C.

Watering:
Keep the soil slightly moist but not soggy. Water twice a week in summer and less in winter. It also appreciates occasional misting to increase humidity around the leaves.

Pruning:
No structural pruning is needed. Simply remove yellow or wilted leaves from the base to encourage healthy new growth.
