Grahamii sauge or Graham´s  Sage  or Sauge microphylla is a kind of perennial shrub belonging to the  lamiaceae
family.

It is a plant very much appreciated by its wildness and the pink - reddish colour of its flowers which open from the spring up to the entry of the colds, with more or less quantity of flowers.

It is very fine in gardens of natural type.

Salvia Grahamii is a semi evergreen bush of rounded shape which releases a mint-like scent.

This plant needs sun and warm weather, being a soft to warm temperature perfect for it. Cover its foot with bark in cold areas.

Water your Salvia Grahamii 2 or 3 times a week, although once established it  become a drought tolerant one.

Does not need much organic matter or rich soil, as far as it  contents enough sand to provide a good drain system to the plant.

Pink sage might suffer from several fungi, because of an excess of water or when it has been sown too tight one to the other, as well as from an excess of humidity. Another problem might be white spider which appears with high temperature and dry environment.

Prune Salvia Grahamii  whenever you consider it is necessary as it can grown up to 1.00-1.200 meters high.

However the proper time is after flowering  in autumn because in winter it will not be nice.  Also can be done at the beggining of spring.
