Description:

Its cylindrical leaves with pointed tips and vivid green color resemble those of pine trees, hence its common name, Miniature Pine. White flowers appear in clusters that turn orange as they wither. They bloom in spring.

It is commonly cultivated in pots, as in soil it can become invasive.

History:

It is a very easy plant to grow, requiring full sun exposure or partial shade. It is drought-resistant and can tolerate short, occasional frosts.

Watering:

It should be watered moderately, allowing the soil to dry well, and almost no watering in winter.

Pruning:

It does not require pruning, but it is advisable to remove faded flowers and damaged stems.

Care:
