Asparagus densiflorus is an evergreen ground covering or hanging plant, belonging to the Asparagaceae family.

Although many people know it by the name of "Foxtail Fern", in reality it is an asparagus plant native to South Africa. It is a species of dense foliage and feathery looking branches. It is very resistant and requires little care.

It can grow both outdoors and indoors, as far as we give it enough hours of sunlight. It is undemanding respect for the substrate, and with a universal one it will be enough for it to germinate. Regarding irrigation, in the warm months we will water it two or three times a week.

As the branches dry, we will remove them to make way for new ones, especially when the winter is ending.

It can suffer the attack of mealybugs and aphids, although it is not frequent.
